2-3 CLUB

The 2-3 Club is a very successful service that Burnchurch National School provides for families in the school. It facilitates families with children who have both 2pm and 3pm finishes at the school by enabling them to carry out just a single collection at 3pm.

For example, if a family has a child in Senior Infants with a 2pm finish and a child in 4th Class with a 3pm finish, the family can avail of the 2-3 Club for the child in Senior Infants and do a single 3pm collection at Burnchurch National School.

The 2-3 Club is held outside for the vast majority of the time for all the seasons and the children only come indoors if necessary due to adverse weather.  They children play on the Astro-Turf, Agility Trial and grounds for the duration of the hour.

There is a fee for this service to cover the additional staffing costs.
